Mike Stevens

In his 33-year Navy career, Mike's various assignments spanned all technical and leadership levels of aircraft maintenance and included: Helicopter Crew Chief, Navy Recruiter, Officer Candidate School (OCS) Instructor and Class Chief Petty Officer. He served as the Command Master Chief in a variety of operational commands, as well as Helicopter Sea Combat Wing Atlantic, U.S. 2nd Fleet and U.S. Fleet Forces Command.

Following his retirement, Mike served as the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Viqtory, a military marketing company focused on veteran's employment. He is presently serving with the National Academy of Sciences as the Vice Chair of the Naval Studies Board, and as a board adviser for the National Museum of the American Sailor and the Global War on Terror Memorial Foundation. He also served as a board adviser for the National Museum of the American Sailor and the Global War on Terror Memorial Foundation, as well as a guest lecturer for the Naval Postgraduate School.

Mike's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science from Excelsior College, Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government's “Leadership in Crisis,” Six Sigma Black Belt, Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education, Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education and the National Defense University Keystone course. He is an honor graduate and the recipient of the prestigious Peter Tomich Award for exceptional military excellence from the Senior Enlisted Academy.

His personal awards include Navy Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards) and Coast Guard Achievement Medal (Operational O).

Mike and his wife, Theresa, currently reside in Arlington, Virginia.
