Position Details:
• Title: Critical Facilities Technician (CFT) / Critical Facilities Maintenance Technician (CFMT)
• Locations:
o Ashburn, VA (northwest suburb of Washington, DC) ** CFT only
o Chandler / Glendale, AZ (Greater Phoenix) ** CFT and CFTM
o Plano, TX (northern Dallas) ** CFT only
o Northlake, IL (Chicago suburb) ** CFT only
o West Jordon, UT (Salt Lake City area) * CFT and CFTM
• Shift:
o CFTs work 12-hr shifts (either 4-3-3-4 or 2-2-3 sked); days (6a – 6p) and nights (6p – 6a) are available.
o CFTMs generally work traditional 8-hr day shift Mon - Fri

Position Descriptions:
Critical Facilities Technician (CFT) - $40/hr - $44/hr:
Under the direction of the Facility Manager, this position requires extensive hands-on analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting of facility operations within Company. Work includes installation, repair, and maintenance of critical and non-critical mechanical and/or electrical machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of building. Some specific responsibilities include:
• Maintain, monitor and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment, to include operation and maintenance of multiple components within the HVAC system, plumbing installation/maintenance, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
• Electrical responsibilities: plan, implement, coordinate and supervision of all electrical operations, maintenance and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment. Ensure conformance with all change-control development, approvals and execution.
• Schedule, develop and provide QA for all preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, general maintenance.
• Routinely perform all work in strict accordance with governing MOP/SOP/ERP procedures, and maintenance work instructions.
• Operate and monitor critical and non-critical system equipment and components. Oversee work efforts (including 3rd party contractors) for safe and compliant operation, maintenance (corrective and preventive), and modification of critical equipment. Disable and enable fire alarm control panels and systems as required.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns. Respond quickly to emergency situations, develop and communicate and improve ADC’s processes to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
• Monitor building operations and tour properties periodically during scheduled shift.
• Understand the engineering design and operational aspect of all electrical systems.
• Evaluate, assign and monitor the safe work responsibilities and safety procedures capabilities of employees and contractors.

Critical Facilities Maintenance Technician (CFMT) - $28/hr - $35/hr:
Under the direction of the Facility Manager, this position requires hands-on experience in general facility maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. Work may include general building repairs, patching/painting of various surfaces, as well the potential to assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of critical and non-critical mechanical and/or electrical machinery located in the interior and exterior of the building. Because this position comes with the possibility of internal advancement, basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems is required. As the company is a customer-first company, you must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in a professional, tactful and courteous manner under any and all circumstances. Some specific responsibilities include:
• Under supervision, assist with maintenance of multiple mechanical areas including components within the HVAC system, plumbing installation/maintenance, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
• Inspect buildings, lighting systems, grounds, and equipment to ensure safe, well-maintained conditions, and identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs (replace light bulbs, ballasts and fuses, etc).
• Identify and perform basic service and repair on plumbing fixtures; open clogged lines and drains.
• Operate a variety of machinery, equipment and tools including saws, router, drills, sanders, planers, drill presses and various hand tools.
• Monitor building conditions and tour property periodically during scheduled shift.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; recommend tools, supplies, and equipment for purchase.
• Assist with moving, loading, unloading and storage of supplies as well as furniture and equipment.
