Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Niles, IL
Shift/Schedule:
• 2nd Shift: 2:00-10:00pm Monday - Friday
• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am Sunday - Thursday
Compensation:
• 2nd Shift: $30-32/hr + OT
• 3rd Shift: $32-34/hr + OT
Benefits: 401K, MED/DEN/VIS
Relocation: On a case-by-case basis
Position Description:
As a Maintenance Tech/Electrician you are to ensure that all electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshooting during unscheduled equipment downtime, repairs, and complete preventive maintenance service.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Performs duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines.
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
• Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility and participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Prior or transitioning US Navy Electricians Mate or Machinist Mate or other Ratings/MOSc/AFSCs with similar backgrounds
