Title: Sales Manager
Location: Anywhere within commutable distance to a major airport
Compensation: Up to $150K +20% incentive bonus and benefits
Travel: 50% - to include trade shows, conferences, and pop-up travel based on potential client needs
Position Description:
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a robust customer portfolio of the company business within the commercial vehicle market segment, while reporting to the Sales Director, North America.
• Drive the sale of highly engineered battery systems and services to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
• Build an effective sales strategy for the designated segment and geography, organically identify and develop new customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain a robust opportunity portfolio and lead the execution of cross-functional customer account plans.
• Champion customer satisfaction; prepare sales, margin and volume forecasts
• Manage commercial offers, terms and conditions, and negotiations through all phases of a contract (quoting, development, series production and aftersales) in line with budget objectives and applicable company procedures.
• Follow-up project development and after-sales activity on its customer portfolio and support when appropriate (negotiation of design change request, warranty issues, etc.).
Requirements:
• The Sales Director is looking for a Military Officer (O3 and above) with a blend of charisma, empathy, and aggressiveness to find and attack new business.
• Experience in mobility (transportation, vehicles, etc) and/or electrical background is a plus.
• Must have the desire to quickly learn a new skillset and technical value proposition to be utilized while conversing with customers.
