Position Details:
Title: Electrician Technician
Location: Wellston, OH
Shift: Plant operation is 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The shifts are non-rotating, 12 hours with 1st and 3rd shift openings! (1st shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 3rd shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am). Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation: Starting pay is $24.75 with $0.25 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift. Annual, negotiated increase and “pay for skills” program! Pay increases are in your hands with this skills program!

Position Description:
As an Electrician Technician, you will be on a team creating high-quality foods that are eaten every day, nationwide. You will be Using technology in an industry-leading facility, and working with high-level operators on experienced teams that are looking to pass down their knowledge to workers willing to learn and get paid to do it! You will be challenging yourself to do the job right and to gain skills to take with you to your next opportunity!
• Responsibility for the overall integrity and reliability of control systems throughout the plant.
• Providing technical support/skills for equipment troubleshooting and controls/equipment modifications.
• Supporting plant maintenance department with PLC troubleshooting at a code level, if/when qualified.
• Working with engineering and maintenance teams to modify PLC programs to improve operations, if/when qualified.
• Testing various electrical equipment (AC/DC drives, motors, and controls) using standard test equipment and observing system/unit operations.
• Providing guidance and support for preventative and predictive maintenance tools.
• Design and layout of circuits, install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment/components.
• Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance.
• Assisting in training new employees as needed.
• Attending meetings and training as required.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
The company, is adding to its professional team of Electrical Technicians! If you have equipment troubleshooting and controls/equipment modifications experience and can test various electrical equipment (AC/DC drives, motors, and controls) using standard test equipment you fit the bill!

A minimum of a high school education or GED is a must and a technical degree in industrial maintenance, or a related field would set you apart. Experience with PLCs, VFDs, or Instrumentation and Computer Maintenance Management Systems experience is a plus!
