Position Description:
A Production Associate is responsible for the packaging, labeling and visual quality inspection of all products produced on their respective production line. A Production Associate is also required to assist Line Operator / Machine Operators with line start-ups, shutdowns and tooling changeovers. Partners closely with the Line Operator / Machine Operator to meet established production goals. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods
  • Track quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency

Recycling Line Operator

ADS

ADS Recycling is now hiring for Recycling Line Operators - Entry Level to Experienced:

Location: Clarion PA

Pay Rates:
USD $16-18.25 depending on experience and shift.

SORT LINE OPERATORS: Entry Level - No industry experience needed. Sort Line Operators are responsible for manually sorting recycled plastics to ensure that the correct material is sent to the grinders for processing. The Sort Line Operator is the first step in the quality assurance process of the plastic reprocessing operation.

WASH LINE OPERATORS: Safety Inclined, Forklift and/or Manufacturing Experienced. The Wash Line Operator is responsible for operating the wash and drying steps of the material processing operation. The Wash Line Operator is also responsible for filling boxes and transporting processed material for storage and distribution.

PELLETIZING LINE OPERATORS: Mechanically Inclined, Forklift and Manufacturing Experienced. A Pelletizing Line Operator is responsible for performing and maintaining the daily activities associated with a Pelletizing line. This includes housekeeping, safety, quality, maintaining production efficiencies, repair and maintenance and minimizing downtime.

A Yard Loader/Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and accurately loading and unloading all deliveries made and received by ADS. A Yard Loader must demonstrate safe and proper vehicle operation at all times. This position also interacts with company and non-company drivers as well as will-call customers and should display excellent customer service skills. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. Loaders report directly to the Yard Supervisor and/or Yard Manager. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Embrace a culture of safety. We expect our people to communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries immediately
  • Maintain a safe working environment that includes the consistent use of Personal Protection Equipment to ensure your safety

Traveling Grind Line Operator

ADS

Location: Remote

This is position requires 75% travel

Pay Rates:
USD $20/Hour with Regular Pay Increases and OT

Position Description:
Our mobile team travels across the country to shred, grind and wash plastic at various sites and then the finished product is shipped to an ADS pipe producing facility. The Grind Line Operator is responsible for transporting recycled plastics to the beginning of the reprocessing line using a forklift. The Grind Line Operator is also responsible for filling boxes and transporting processed material for storage and distribution. If you enjoy hands-on work, the outdoor elements, and the opportunity to travel throughout the United States, then this is the job for you!

Qualifications:

  • We are seeking people who have strong mechanical skills and experience with heavy equipment.
  • You will have experience in forklifts, skid steers, telescoping material handlers, conveyors, trailers, or a variety of tools for repair and maintenance items.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
