Position Description:
The Senior Control Valve Mechanic is a skilled tradesperson who works onsite in their client factories and power plants. She/He is responsible for the maintenance, enhancements, and repair of complex control valves that are installed and in operation within a customer facility. She/He will interact regularly with customers and co-workers, thus strong people skills and the ability to be a clear communicator are required.
• Provide client-site field services for control systems, control valves, instrumentation, on-off valves, actuators, and regulators at customer sites, power plants, or in the company’s repair facility. Assist in providing Installed Base Services for Emerson and other manufacturers at customer sites, or in the company facility.
• Perform the company Valve Automation and Distribution Center work including the assembly, modification, calibration, and testing of control valves, automated on-off valves, and regulators as required.
• Complete on-site troubleshooting and/or remote diagnostics of valves and instrumentation using ValveLink or AMS diagnostic software tools to determine the overall health of the equipment when required.
• Repair, rebuild. or replace malfunctioning control system components per factory specifications as required.
• Replace malfunctioning control valves, automated on-off valves, regulators, and instrumentation per factory specifications.
• Prepare Field Service Reports documenting parts repaired or replaced, and services performed.
• Prepare calibration documentation including as-found/as-left calibration records, parts repaired or replaced, and other services performed as required by the customer.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager of Field Services.

Requirements:

Position Description:

Company Service Engineers travel to power plants across the U.S. and are responsible for the maintenance and upgrades to some of the largest and most powerful electrical generation machinery in the world including gas turbines, steam turbines and generators. Your responsibilities will include:

You will work directly with leading staff of field service engineers to develop skills that include equipment operation, maintenance, job site safety, project management, leadership, and company’s business systems
Once you complete training, as a Field Service Engineer, you'll be supervising technicians and mechanics working on turbine generator equipment during power plant maintenance shutdowns (outages), both planned and unplanned system outages which can occur due to equipment performance issues.
Your team will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling turbines and generators
You'll coordinate the upgrading of mechanical and electrical systems on turbine generators to increase power output and efficiency
You will collaborate with company worldwide engineering staff to perform niche mechanical and electrical testing
You will serve as the primary customer contact during outages and ensure repairs are made in a timely and accurate manner
While deployed, you will work extended working hours of up to 12-14 hours per day including weekends/holidays.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will have 4 months off a year (December, January, June, and July)

Requirements: Candidates must have strong backgrounds in industrial electrical maintenance (preferably with turbine generators) with good leadership. Candidates with college degrees are preferred. Position Description :
As the Facilities and Data Center Technician IV, you must possess an expert level of knowledge and will be responsible for the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the facilities and data center electrical, mechanical, fire life safety systems, and communications infrastructure.

• You will also be directly responsible for the processes that maximize customer uptime in the most cost-effective way by working very closely with the Data Center Manager. You must ensure that data center problems are identified and repaired quickly, contractors deliver quality services, and internal customer demands are met. You will develop creative approaches to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and implement new strategies.

• 5 or more years in a mechanical/electrical position within critical facilities (preference given to a data center, hospital, or power plant experience) or similar Military background.
