Position Description:
Reporting to the Downtown O&M Manager, the Plant Maintenance Tech IV is responsible to provide ongoing operations and maintenance of the district cooling facilities in downtown Phoenix, while observing and complying with all safety requirements. The primary objective is to maintain plant chillers, distribution system, and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in maintenance activities at our Tempe cogeneration facility and remote plant locations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Reviews and understands the operating and maintenance requirements of the main plant, remote plants, and distribution system.
• Acquires bids and oversees contractors for maintenance and other services.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant equipment as directed.
• Complete all necessary logs, records, maintenance documentation, and plant paperwork as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by plant management (i.e., facility cleaning, customer heat exchangers, etc.).
• Initiate work requests in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for plant equipment requiring maintenance and meet weekly with department manager to schedule, plan, and coordinate work.
• Coordinate with operations lead for initiating LOTO’s in computer-based program (Red Tag).
• Attend daily meetings with Leads and Plant Management.
• Interprets technical manuals, sketches, prints, instructions, manufacturer’s data and equipment history records and incorporates the applicable information in developing work plans. Identifies opportunities to improve O&M work processes and leads problem solving analysis when required to address issues and corrective actions while sharing lessons learned and best practices.
• Plans and executes routine project maintenance and supports major maintenance and capital replacement projects. Provides coordination between contractors, consultants, and material suppliers on plant projects.
• Ensures that all safety policies and regulations are followed, and all daily work is executed in accordance with the company’s safety policies. Performs pre-job briefs for critical work activities.
• Ensures full compliance with all environmental regulations with a goal of zero exceedances, reportable spills or other violations.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory management of spare parts and other plant supplies.
• Must be prepared to respond to emergency callout 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates for this position will have 4+ years of military or industry experience with an educational relevant field in district working with power, steam and/or chilled water equipment.

Location: Houston, TX

Shift: Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm with 30-minute lunch & 15-minute break in the morning.

Position Description | UPS Field Technician

A fully competent UPS Field Technician applies an intensive and diversified knowledge of complete UPS start-up, testing and operations. Responsible for installation, commissioning, maintaining, repairing, and providing emergency support on Batteries, Chargers, Inverters, Static Switches, and Maintenance Bypass Switches for Commercial, Telecom, and Industrial systems at customers' sites. Performs commissioning focused design reviews, prepares commissioning test procedures and reports, coordinates and oversees on-site testing. Answer customer programming and application questions by phone.
Assist in creating and modifying procedures for the qualification and installation of machines.


Requirements:

Company is looking to add a skilled Applications Engineer to their team in Charlotte! CNC programming experience (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhein), CAD, and MasterCam software experience are a must. A four-year degree is not required, but a technical or associate’s degree will set you apart.

Thorough knowledge and application of SPC techniques for evaluating and troubleshooting process variation.
Has a wide variety of part-type experience in the manufacturing of chassis and powertrain components in the automotive and/or aerospace industry.
High understanding of feed and speeds and types of cutting tools for a wide variety of parts and material types.
A high degree of understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic fixturing.
Has the ability to troubleshoot fixtures to determine the root cause of failure.
Ability to analyze and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical schematics and drawings.
Understanding of the ISO9001 quality standards.

Position Description:
Company is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and providing emergency support on power electronics at customers’ sites within their respective regional coverage area. This role is vital to ensuring customer satisfaction through technical expertise and timely service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Commission, maintain, and provide emergency support for Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) systems and other power electronics equipment at customer sites.
• Deliver technical on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Perform general and preventive maintenance on UPS systems, batteries, PDUs (Power Distribution Units), static automatic transfer switches, and branch circuit monitoring.
• Respond promptly to emergency service requests.
• Strive to achieve a “first-time fix” for customer equipment issues.
• Ensure clear, concise, and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on safety field change notices and service tips.
• Accurately report expenses, field service activities, and technical findings.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant field service experience, with the ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.
• Expertise in equipment such as UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, and static switches.
• Technical degree in electronics or equivalent military electronics training preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of OHM’s law, electronic theory, and electrical fundamentals.
• Experience with 3-phase/480v systems.
• Proficiency in using electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with UPS OEM systems (Liebert/Vertiv, Emerson, APC/MGE, Eaton/Powerware, Toshiba, Mitsubishi) is a plus.
• Competence in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage schedules independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to travel regionally as required.
