Responsibilities:

Performs quality repairs and maintenance on all Heavy truck and diesel engines as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspections.
Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Accurately completes all paperwork including repair information on work orders and keeping detailed records on all work performed.
Ability to organize the work presented and plan for the highest efficiency and productivity in the performance of all job functions.
Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are properly working.
Consistently maintains training and education as assigned by management and participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.

Experience / Skills:

Experience in an OEM Heavy Truck dealership setting.
Possess factory training certifications in drivetrain, electrical, braking systems, etc.
CDL license or can obtain a CDL license.
Fluent with current diagnostic software.
Knowledgeable of diagnostic and repair systems.
Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
