Position Description
As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will assist the Branch Manager to ensure efficient operations and optimal customer satisfaction to maintain profitability. You will be responsible for personnel management, standards and expectations, training, and other applicable matters. You will be required to maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service. You will oversee general compliance and adherence to policies and procedures including but not limited to safety, including HACCP and OSHA, security, inventory, and accountability. You will set an operational mission for the branch and follow up with employees to monitor activities and achieve the goals and standards set forth. You will also assist with the mentorship, coaching, and development of Department Managers, annual performance reviews, promotions, and other applicable actions. You will maintain communication with corporate partners, and ensure all reports or paperwork is completed and processed in an accurate and timely manner. You may be assigned special projects or responsibilities as needed.

Position Requirements
• 4 years’ experience in management and operations.

Position Description: The company’s primary goal is to support its customers and their testing objectives. In pursuit of this goal, ZwickRoell offers state-of-the-art test machines, industry-leading measurement and control software, and complete solutions that enhance overall testing efficiency. They support applications across numerous markets with a wide range of capabilities, grips, fixtures, and unique tooling that can be tailored to meet specific testing requirements. As Field Service Engineer you will report directly to the Service Manager and provide technical support for ZwickRoell material testing machines. This position directly interfaces with customers:

Installation, Service, and Repair of simple and specialized ZwickRoell systems. Examples include but are not limited to: Automation, Robotest systems, Programming Auto Edition, Dropweight towers, Complex Medical equipment i.e., Catheter systems, Auto-Injectors, Torsion systems, and Temperature Chambers
Calibrate equipment to relevant standards and procedures.
Use and train all current test methods. Evaluate the result of the reasonableness test.
Customer training of operation and software of ZwickRoell machines.
Project management, Provide leadership on relocation jobs and large Installation.
Prepare written reports of calibration results according to ISO/IEC 17025
Support customers and other personnel with technical advice when required.
Troubleshoot electronic & electromechanical devices from schematics and mechanical drawings.

Requirements/ Relevant Experience:

Skilled technicians with formal technical training and 4+ years of technical experience.
Military backgrounds in electronics, electrical maintenance, and/or mechanical component repair are all great skill sets and backgrounds that translate successfully to these roles.
Technical metrology or prior calibration experience is preferred. Experience with universal destructive testing machines and extensometers is also preferred but not required.
Preferred bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline

Requirements/ Relevant Experience:

The ideal candidate will have 3 years+ experience in outside technical sales with capital equipment (preferably in test & measurement, analytical instrumentation, or industrial controls).  The ability to navigate computer programs and software.  A technical or Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., materials science, mechanical/electrical/biomedical/chemical engineering, physics, or chemistry) is preferred, not required.  The ideal candidate will have skills presenting to customers and ability to build relationships with stakeholders. Knowledge of common ASTM/ISO standards in mechanical testing of materials (plastics and metals) is preferred.  The candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with car insurance and be willing to travel domestically depending on the assigned territory.
