Our Professional Search team develops seasoned sales professionals into subject matter experts in a designated vertical sector, to include Technology, Construction, Finance, and Senior Executives. Our Professional Search team grows and develops Orion product lines (including military, civilian, mid-level and executive) within each of the respective vertical sectors and works to identify new military or RPO opportunities.

Job Description

What You'll Do

As the Director, Professional Search, you'll identify, grow, and retain accounts in your specific vertical, driving high customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and year over year improvement. The Professional Search team will work with established account managers within our Search Division to gain knowledge of and access to Orion Talent accounts that include over 15,000 clients and a 50,000+ alumni network. You will also leverage prior contacts and industry knowledge to discover new opportunities and grow revenue. Your support team includes marketing, IT and finance.

Who You Are

  • You're an innovator. You'll sell all Orion service lines within your vertical to include military, industry-experienced, veteran outreach, staffing solutions, and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO).
  • You're a cross-functional collaborator. You'll receive support from Orion IT and Marketing teams and collaborate on a regular basis. Our marketing team will help with identifying points of contact within companies, identify companies to target, direct mailing, and branding. You'll help create and maintain digital marketing inside your vertical and maintain a prospecting call plan in conjunction with the marketing team.
  • You're a team player. You'll work across all Orion offices with other Account Executives and Sales Leadership on key accounts; you'll develop and share training material on your vertical industry and subject matter expert knowledge on a regular basis.
  • You're system-savvy. You'll develop key account management processes using our proven sales methodology to grow accounts while maintaining an accurate book of business.
  • You exceed standards. You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding required metrics or standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in sales, Human Capital, Talent Acquisition; or experience in relevant vertical sector
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of successful business and sales performance
  • Willing to travel 20% to customer locations and/or trade shows (post COVID-19)
  • Social media proficiency for informational content marketing
  • Fierce and competitive spirit

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or post-baccalaureate degree
