Title: Home Office Corporate Engineer
Location: Glastonbury, CT
Shift: Mon -Fri; normal business hours
Compensation: $100-125k with some flexibility for the right candidate. Project success bonus is also paid out.

Travel: Initially light, as you will be working front end project design and planning, this could open up as projects break ground.
Job Description:
. In this position you will act as the person who will kick off major projects. It will involve quality assurance on designs, being a liaison between OEM team and field personal, the person who will be responsible for logistics, permitting and local government coordination.
Confirm all designs meet the need of the project.
Support proposal efforts in civil design and quantities.
Review vendor drawings and specifications.
Review geotechnical reports and Engineer of Record documents and drawings.
Support field with Request for Information (RFI).
Review subcontractor design and shop drawings.
Identify discrepancies in scope of work, contract, plans, or specification and obtain resolution.
Document change order requests.
Responsible for quantitative tracking and reporting of work progress weekly with project controls.
Ensure federal, state, and local compliance codes, compliance of drawings, and permit drawings.
Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
Strong connection with Engineering Field
4-year degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
2 to 4+ years of experience in renewables, combined-cycle power plant construction, or other large industrial projects.
Must have strong problem solving, prioritization, organization, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, PDF, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Military Experience highly preferred.
