Schedule: day shift (Mon – Fri)
Compensation: Base Salary of $75-$85K based on experience + annual bonus

Position Description
The company is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join their specialty construction company with a focus on Automobile Car Dealership and Public Works projects/construction. Company seeks to attract an experienced Assistant Project Manager who is looking for an established and growing organization that is the leader in their field.

As the Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible to manage both small and large projects. Projects will consist of: supply and installation of equipment and related items at all types of vehicle maintenance facilities.
You will be responsible to manage the project by driving the schedule, track deliverables, ensure high quality and operational readiness throughout the project life cycle. This position requires the ability to work directly with the company management, sales department, field crews, owner/client, architect, general contractor, consultants, subcontractors, and other project team members to meet project objectives and resolve any issues pertaining to the project.

Responsibilities include:
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the project once contract has been signed, including: review blue prints for accuracy, scheduling, in-house crews, operational requirements, equipment purchases, permitting and vendors.
• Oversee the project from the start to the finish. Monitor the progress of the construction activities of our crews and that of any sub-contractors. Conduct and attend status meetings and jobsite meetings.
• Establish effective working relationship with architect, general contractor, and their sub-contractors / vendors.
• Track project warranties, equipment registration and commissioning

Requirements
• 3 - 5 years of experience in Construction industry for a general contractor or specialty contractor
• Proficient in various P.C. applications (word, excel, project, outlook, Teams and procore)
• Must have the ability to read, understand drawings and construction sequencing
• Strong verbal, written and organizational skills are a must
• Detail orientated, motivated, organized team player is a must
• Experience and knowledge of Public Works Projects is a plus
