Compensation: $90,000-$98,000 DOEQ w/ annualized merit bonus

Position Description
As a Quality Engineer, you will create, implement, maintain, and monitor quality plans related to manufacturing processes for rotating and structural aerospace components. You will monitor and analyze manufacturing process capabilities and provide root cause analysis, corrective action, and overall guidance to maintain/improve metrics. Responsibilities will include:
• Develop/implement/improve manufacturing process quality plans.
• Create process documentation (CA&V, ICP, PFMEA).
• Review/disposition of non-conformance and facilitate root cause review/assignment.
• Monitor Process quality metrics and initiate improvement plans.
• Implement corrective actions and monitor sustainment.
• Monitor process capabilities and raise issues for awareness.
• Interface with suppliers to develop/troubleshoot special process issues.
• Review drawings/specification changes.
• Interface directly with customers to alleviate quality issues.
• Monitor/develop plans to alleviate MRB/Slow moving WIP.
• Present process metrics utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Develop/Maintain expert knowledge of customer specifications and requirements.
• Develop and train customer/part-specific procedures for quality, technical, and operational staff.
• Submit/introduce FPA/DAR plans/changes.
• Provide technical leadership to team members.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager or Director.

Position Requirements
• 3-5 years of quality engineering related experience (aerospace machining is a plus).
• Good understanding of GD&T. Strong understanding of inspection methods (to apply on high precision aerospace components).
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
