  • As a SEAL Team SEVEN Engineer, directly supervised 15 military personnel. Logistical lead on preparing for deployment exercises. Planned and executed camp layouts for providing electricity and utilities, supporting training for tactical movements and air surveillance systems.
  • As Facility Manager for SEAL Team SEVEN's command buildings, monitored utilities, HVAC systems, cleaning contracts, and major end user items, and identified and corrected facility shortfalls.
  • Acted as Engineering and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force - Iraq (CJSOTF-I) managing $11M worth of contracts. Prepared and briefed contract packages to Major Generals for funding, monitored contract services, documented performance, and made payment for rendered services.
  • As the CJSOTF-I Engineer, re-allocated and modified buildings and compounds to support Special Operation Commands throughout Iraq. The re-allocation of buildings and compounds required constant coordination and communication with governing authorities, establishing new support contracts, implementing network communication hardware, and installing anti-terrorism force protection requirements to fit the end user's requirements.
  • Managed four engineering projects valued at $1.6M performed by Iraqi construction companies, developed to assist the Iraqi Military fight ISIS while supporting the local economy.

Construction Manager | 2016 - 2017
Rota, Spain

  • Managed the Rota Harbor Spanish Naval Port dredging project valued at $3.3M; completed on budget and six months ahead of schedule with no safety mishaps. Required constant communication with the U.S. Navy Port Operations and the Spanish Navy.
  • Managed the start-up of the $7M multi-phased Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) School Expansion Project. Executed major construction activities within an active campus safely and with no disruptions to students or staff.
  • Oversaw the installation of the $1.8M Interim Elementary School Project, on a fast-tracked schedule, where six temporary classrooms were constructed to Unified Facility Criteria (UFC) and DODEA standards.

Facility Service Supervisor | 2014 - 2016
Rota, Spain; Deveselu, Romania

  • Directly managed the $2M Base Operation Support Contract (BOSC) for the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense Site at Naval Station Facility Deveselu, Romania. Created an inspection plan and certified completion of contract requirements, while managing the closeout of construction activities on all base facilities.
  • Supervised 10 military personnel and three Spanish Nationals in the execution of $24.5M in Base Operation and Support (BOS), Job Order Contract (JOC), and Indefinite delivery/Indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts, supporting operational readiness of 37 commands.
  • Directly managed $672K in renovations of barrack buildings and $91K in paving contracts.
  • Key player in the planning and execution of support requirements for Operation Trident Juncture, a NATO exercise involving 36,000 personnel from 30 nations. Earned high praise from supported commanders for leadership and responsiveness in providing immediate support to emergent requirements throughout the exercise.

Engineering Advisor Officer | 2012 - 2014
Camp Lejeune, NC

  • Planned and led a team of 25 Marines as the Project Engineer, in the construction of 1,800 feet of patrol roads and installation of three culverts on undeveloped desert along the United State/Mexican Border supporting the Department of Homeland Security patrolling operations. This project was completed on budget and ahead of schedule with zero safety mishaps.
  • Camp Mayor of the USMC 8th Engineer Support Battalion Compound at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. Maintained work and berthing facilities for 600 personnel.
  • Closed the 8th Engineer Support Battalion compound at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, as part of the Afghanistan Military drawdown. Closing the compound involved demolishing wood structures, removing 5,000 pounds of hazardous material, and coordinating the transfer of land use agreements for re-allocation.

  • Supervised 43 personnel and managed 143 vehicles and man handling equipment spread over six locations.
  • Responsible for the movement and transportation of 3.5K personnel, 7K miles of logistical ground movements, and air shipment of critical pieces of equipment through Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Afghanistan.
  • Planned and supervised an Air Force partnering project with the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron, which consisted of clearing 16 acres of undeveloped land for a special warfare camp; completed two weeks ahead of schedule.

  • Managed a $2.8M airfield arresting gear project which repaired and revolutionized the protection of the airfield asphalt from the arresting gear cable and aircraft catch hooks.
  • Construction Manager for $3.8M of renovation requirements and automatic switchgear installments in West Palm Beach, Dania Beach, Miami, and the Florida Keys supporting Naval and Joint Operations Command Centers.
  • As part of a footprint reduction initiative, executed $256K in projects by demolishing two buildings containing asbestos without environmental or safety incidents; completed ahead of schedule, under budget, with no safety incidents.
  • Managed and provided design and constructability expertise to $5.1M in paving projects on Naval Air Station Key West. Coordinated the construction schedule with all base commands ensuring minimal impact to base operations.
