In this role you will assist the Branch Shop Manager to carry out the functions of the fabrication shop. Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Essex Junction VT

Shift: M-F 8:00am-4:30pm

Compensation: 75-80k + Company Truck + $10 K sign on for the first year paid out in full within the first month +$75 / day on call for weekends 2 weekends a month (just under $2k / yr)+$4hr pay increase after completing qual board (normally 8-16 months depending on technician working out to be just over $8,000 / yr)

Benefits: Comprehensive Corporate Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, PTO, 401k Matching, Relocation)

Travel: Daily travel regionally.  1 week new hire safety, 1-2 weeks product line training, 2 bi-annual safety meetings, 1 week AC/DC plus, 1 week back up systems and O2 cleaning. After the first year travel will be very low.

 

Veteran Profile: Nuke EM, EM, Aviation Electrician, GSE or equivalent.

Provides nationwide support of fired equipment. Must be willing to listen to feedback, learn, and take on assignments that will stretch your abilities. Success in the role will open you up to many opportunities to purposely grow within the group and potentially other sister companies. Service, repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on all types of boilers, heaters, fired equipment, etc.

Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in servicing boilers and fired equipment
• Proficient with electrical multi-meter and 120v AC and low voltage control circuitry
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, Experience with VFDs, PLCs, single loop controllers and other electronic controls desired
• Demonstrate good communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license
