Position Details:

• Title: Production Set-Up and Repair
• Location: Pompano Beach, FL
• Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm
• Compensation: $17-$19/hr
• Benefits: Robust benefits package

Position Description: Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for preparing and trouble-shooting dies in order to run production, which meets customer requirements. Maintain and care for the dies ensuring they are in proper clean and working condition.
• Prepare jobs on press according to work order specifications.
• Assist in modification and creation of standardized work procedures.
• Utilize and understand all applicable subcomponents of the production order.
• Responsible for machine set up including ancillary equipment as related to the materials needed; verify type of metal and thickness.
• Follow and document process parameters to ensure repeatable results; ensure proper start up and shut down procedures for machines.
• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery.
• Use troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable machine processes.
• Check parts for proper tolerances, surface blemishes, dimensions, etc.
• Measure and inspect work pieces for defects to determine accuracy of machine operation, using micrometers, calipers, or other measuring instruments. Job must be inspected by Quality Control.
• Responsible for clear/consistent communication and continuous operation of production equipment.
• May aid in the training of employees in the positions of operator and set-up & repair.
• Operate all machinery and equipment in a safe manner while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
