• 3+ years’ experience in mechanical troubleshooting. Good practical sense of working with and troubleshooting equipment problems. Able to work with minimal supervision and with a team.
• Welding experience is a plus but not a must-have.

Position Description:

A field position that necessitates frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards required to install, service, and maintain assigned systems. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills to relay the theory and technical functions of equipment to delivery client customer settings. Responsible for both applications and service of equipment with the customer systems, helping them develop solutions with their current equipment or recommending additional solutions from the company portfolio based on their needs. You will ensure proper preventative maintenance is completed and perform administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner. Effective and efficient troubleshooting is imperative in this role.

 

Requirements:

2+ years servicing automated equipment (experience with life science equipment preferred)
Degree or certifications engineering/relevant fields (i.e. biochemistry), or equivalent work experience
Aptitude and attitude to service instruments and identify and troubleshoot source issues
Computer proficiency with programing and software, ability to learn device specific software
Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Good Manufacturing Practice, and/or Good Laboratory Practice knowledge helpful
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Valid passport or ability to obtain a passport (travel to Germany for training)
