Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Hazleton, PA
Shift: Currently 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am. We will be going to a 3-2-2 schedule, 6am to 6pm, 6pm to 6am
Compensation: $30-$34 Hourly

Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced maintenance technician that will be responsible for performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on building systems and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components, to ensure the proper functioning and safety of a facility, often responding to emergency repairs as needed; their duties may include troubleshooting issues, replacing parts, and coordinating with outside contractors when necessary.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned
Regular and predictable attendance
Analyze, trouble-shoot, and repair mechanical problems of plant machinery.
Perform maintenance function and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime by completing regular PM’s
Work within specifications and drawings, responsible for ensuring completion, minimizing waste within set dates and times
Ensure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve world class results; ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirement.
Work with maintenance crew to carry out maintenance and repair projects in mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, welding functions.
Other corrective and preventive maintenance duties to be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

4+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of technical school education and experience.
Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience; overall maintenance functions.

Position Description: As an Electrical and Controls Technician you will work as a technical leader in support of manufacturing goals, and be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs of electrical problems on complex packaging equipment. You will also be the lead electrical technician on new equipment upgrades and installations. Some other specific responsibilities include:
• Identify inputs and outputs as per schematics and troubleshoot circuits, switches, relays, etc.
• Mark and disconnect wiring, run wire per electrical code, trace circuits, and rewire machines.
• Install and troubleshoot AC and DC drives with minimum supervision
• Troubleshoot PLCs and use electrical meters.
• Assume active technical role in overall plant and facilities maintenance work.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have an extensive working knowledge of electrical maintenance as it pertains to industrial equipment/manufacturing equipment (PLCs, automaton, motors, controls, etc).

Position Description: The Technical Services Manager role is responsible for managing a team of Service Technicians and the Service function as well as providing excellent customer service experiences and maintaining strong relations with manufacturers, suppliers, and sales representatives. Provide Technical Support to API Customers, Sales Partners, and Vendors.
Lead monthly meetings with Service Technicians. This should involve Branch Managers and Vice Presidents if available.
Manage Service Technicians keeping a focused and healthy attitude.
Conduct Service calls as needed.
Perform ride-a-longs with Service Technicians as well as with Sales Partners.
Provide leadership to Service Technicians through product knowledge, service advice, etc., as necessary to ensure that customer satisfaction, gross profit objectives, parts, and service goals are met.
Coordinate with the Branch Sales VP, Branch Manager, and Vendors a formal and informal training of Service Technicians.
Responsible for maintaining vendor relationships. Specifically, as it relates to parts & equipment. This requires timely communications, problem-solving, and mill visits to key suppliers when necessary.
Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory in Branches and in the Service Technician’s possession and coordinate physical counts.
Conduct performance reviews for Branch Service Technicians.
Review all service-related letters, quotations, and correspondence written to customers and vendors.
Review & approve service technician expenses, timesheets & time off requests on a timely basis.
Participate in interviews and the hiring process of new Service Technicians.
Attend and participate in quarterly sales meetings and the National Sales Meetings.
Responsible for monitoring the rebuild and/or equipment area to make sure equipment is being completed in a timely fashion.
Responsible for all costs related to the Branch Service Department.


Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing service projects and service personnel.
Minimum of an Associate Degree in a related field preferred.

Position Description: The Equipment Field Service Technician provides excellent technical services and customer service experiences maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and sales representatives. Perform all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks providing instructional training to customers
Continual training of equipment and resources necessary to perform the functions of the department
Attend Branch and Technical Service meetings scheduled by the Service Manager or Branch Mgr.

Manage excellent vendor relationships by providing timely communications, problem-solving, and site visits to key suppliers when necessary

Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to and resolve issues

Requirements: The ideal candidate for this job is a PLC-experienced technician who possesses strong electrical skills, has a basic mechanical aptitude, and is an independent-minded, self-motivated individual comfortable working remotely. You must be service-oriented to satisfy client’s needs and build business relationships. Any experience with machinery and conveyor equipment experience is a strong plus as is familiarity with scheduling and expediting the turnaround time on service calls. You must have dependable transportation, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance along with willingness to drive up to 2 hours at beginning and end of day for service work (paid time).

Must be able to read wiring schematics and troubleshoot DC and AC circuits.
Must have a basic understanding of PLCs, how they work, and how to make basic program changes and transfer programs. Allen Bradley software knowledge is a plus.
Must have basic electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Dependable transportation required, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.

Shift: 7am-3pm Mon.-Fri.

Position Description: This position is part of company’s flagship insulation (yes, think Pink Panther!) plant maintenance team. This plant has production line equipment and two melters processing fiberglass for insulation production. Maintenance Technicians primarily troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production systems and equipment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install all equipment and systems in the plant to insure smooth operation, production, & safe working conditions. Key duties include:
• Troubleshooting & solving production and facility equipment problems during day-to-day operations.
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment & systems to prevent downtime/deterioration.
• Work assignments on projects for continued growth, expansion, & safety of the plant and work areas.
• Work with outside contractors to perform installation or service of equipment within the facility.
• Assisting operators to minimize downtime and complete scheduled equipment cleaning/changeovers.

Requirements: HS Diploma. Candidates must be maintenance professionals with 2+ years industrial electrical systems experience troubleshooting & repairing industrial systems. Strong systems-level electrical experience in typical working-leveling voltage range required from 480V, 3-phase and below. Multi-craft technicians are preferred. Electrically you will be fixing motors, starters, variable-frequency drives, sensors, interfaces, relays, input/output controls, instrumentation and some robotics on production line equipment and systems. Candidates must have excellent input/output troubleshooting & be able to read schematics, blueprints, drawings for maintenance/troubleshooting/repair. Candidates should have ability to share skills to help others develop, excellent communication skills, and commitment to providing a high level of detail, pride, and safety towards system & equipment maintenance work, projects, and programs. Location: Wisconsin Rapids (Biron Mill in beautiful Central Wisconsin)
Shift: 1st shift Mon.-Fri. 7am – 3pm or a shift rotation depending on coverage consisting of 7am-3pm for 7-days, 2 days off, 3pm-11pm for 7-days, 2 days off, 11pm-7am for 7-days then 3 days-off, so every 4th weekend is a 3-day weekend.
Compensation: $43.35/hr. + $2/hr. for any off-shift work + typically 2-4 hours O/T work weekly on average + relocation.
