Position Details:Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: West Hartford, CT (can be open to any states in the New England region for a candidate that has the right skills. This position will travel between different customer sites in the region.)
Shift: M-F 7a-3:30p
Compensation: $80,000-$90,000

Travel: 70% travel both in the local area as well as to other customers in the Northeastern USA (FSEs are never gone over the weekend)
Position Description:
The Field Service Engineer will travel to customer sites and assist with machine set up and troubleshooting. Once machines are installed and commissioned, the FSE will consult with the client on operational best practices. The FSE will provide troubleshooting and repair as required by the customers.
Perform field service and maintenance on injection molding machines
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
Analyze and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
Install, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical components
Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper function
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
4+ years of technical military experience from an electrical background (examples include Electricians, Electronics Technicians, Navy Nuclear Technicians, Navy GSEs)
Basic knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs
Good communication skills to interact with clients and provide clear instructions
Additional Desired Skills:
Basic ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
Basic ability to use a multimeter
Basic understanding of wiring when given prints
