• Location: Des Plaines, IL (northwest suburb of Chicago)
• Travel/Schedule: Day shift (7:30a – 4p Mon thru Friday); minimal overtime

o Level 3 Mechanic: $28.00/hr (increases to $28.70/hr in March of ’25)
o Level 2 Mechanic: $32.90/hr (increases to $33.72/hr in March of ’25)

Position Description: As a Shop Mechanic, you will play a key role in maintaining company’s diverse fleet of motor coaches and other passenger vehicles (primarily diesel-powered). Some other specific responsibilities include:
• Basic Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as brake changes, tire rotations, and replacements. Conduct preventative maintenance including lubrication and oil changes.
• Component Disassembly and Reassembly: Assist in the removal and installation of seats, glass, and other components. Disassemble and reconnect harnesses and lines as needed for repairs.
• Suspension and Braking Systems: Support suspension maintenance tasks, including the replacement of suspension components, and perform basic inspections and repairs on braking systems.
• Electrical Systems and Diagnostics: Develop your skills in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, ensuring all components function correctly and efficiently.
• Safety and Precision: Adhere to all safety practices, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of all tools and materials.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of engines or similar equipment (such as diesel generators, motors, etc).

• Title: Materials Supervisor
• Location: Pembina, ND (75 miles north of Grand Forks)
• Travel/Schedule: 4x10hr day shift (6a – 4:30p) schedule (Mon-Thur)
• Compensation: Target base salary ~$70K - $75K (exempt, but also eligible for overtime)

Position Description: As the Materials Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities within the Materials department, including receiving, shipping, shop floor operations, planning, and management of all employees within the department. Some other specific responsibilities include:
• Lead and oversee the materials team, ensuring alignment and efficiency through daily toolbox meetings.
• Manage staff scheduling and ensure team members have the tools and resources needed for their daily tasks.
• Assist in the development, communication, and implementation of departmental policies, guidelines, and tools to ensure successful operations.
• Oversee the department's budget, managing indirect labor, overtime, and material supply costs.
• Monitor and achieve material performance metrics, collaborating with other plants to meet shipping requirements and minimize obsolete inventory.
• Reduce inventory discrepancies by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Address challenges related to uncontrollable items, cross-training, sub-inventory management, and inter-departmental communication.
• Ensure compliance with ISO procedures, work instructions, and 5S principles, while driving continuous improvement within the department.
• Handle safety-related responsibilities, including accident/incident investigations, daily safety promotion, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain and monitor seasonal equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and optimal condition.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have leadership experience in a logistics / warehousing environment, with good knowledge of MRP/ERP systems. You will be expected to manage budgets, inventory and material handling / movement.

• Locations:
o New Orleans, LA
o Seattle, WA / Pacific Northwest
• Travel: This is a high travel position that will require travel in segments of anywhere from a day in length to several weeks (for large installation / commissioning projects), primarily throughout the Gulf of Mexico, but occasionally in the Caribbean, Pacific Northwest or other international locations near shipyards / ports. For longer jobs, you will be flown home every couple of weeks for a weekend. And when you are not travelling to a job site, you will either receive down time at home, provide technical phone support to customers from home or occasionally work out of one of company’s local depot, performing in-house overhauls, maintenance, etc.
• Compensation: Target base rate ~$32/hr to $35/hr (candidates with significant experience directly related to company’s industry and operations may be considered for higher base rates). Annual W-2 is typically over $90K with per diem, travel O/T, etc factored in.
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Because this is a travel position, you will receive per diem during all travel and overtime is paid at 1.5X after 40 hours. Relocation assistance can be provided if needed.

You will provide technical troubleshooting, maintenance and repair support as well as commissioning and installation of new systems associated with propulsion control. The position requires availability to travel (domestic and international) to attend service and training in planned or short notice demands. Weekend and holiday travel is uncommon, but occasionally required. Typical jobs range anywhere from one to four days length, although larger commissioning projects can last up to several weeks. You can expect to receive significant (and continued) On-The-Job Training as well as formalized equipment training at Kongsberg’s International HQ in Norway. Some specific responsibilities include:

• Technical support on Propulsion Control systems and associated hardware / software.
• Commissioning work on new builds and upgrades to existing installations.
• Technical assistance to Sales & Marketing and Aftersales.
• Provide in-house technical support by phone and email to internal and external customers
• Follow-up with appropriate technical department after service jobs.
• Develop qualifications by participating at internal / external courses and education.
• Report problems and suggest improvements using KM Quality Tools as QC Responsible.
• Identify and report incidents, improvements, and needs to Service Manager.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background in electronics / electrical systems and concepts (such as PID controllers, filters, communications protocols, etc), ideally associated with shipboard propulsion control systems and related equipment. You should also be comfortable navigating computer operating systems and software packages, including PLCs and SCADA. You should also have a clear ability to work with electronic equipment such as volt meters, amp meters, oscilloscopes, etc; the ability to troubleshoot basic electric and electronic circuitry, including reading and interpreting electrical and electronic diagrams; and a working understanding of AC power circuitry including breakers, multi-phase power, etc (up to 220VAC). You should also be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. And you must be service-minded and customer-focused. A valid passport is required for hire.

Position Details:

Title: Service Technician (Generator, Diesel, Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical)

Location: Greater Atlanta, Columbus OH, Southeast MI, Phoenix AZ.

Shift: Primarily Mon.-Fri. normal daytime hours; otherwise as needed/required for emergency service.

Compensation: You will be paid a starting base rate level based on maintenance experience and skills + O/T after 8 hours worked daily + bonus based on branch performance and company profitability + cumulative pay raises and incentives for progression through professional development skill levels & certifications + full relocation. Starting base rate levels:

Trainee/General Services = $21-$24/hr. (no experience)
Service Tech 4 = $25-$29/hr. (~1-3 years’ experience, typically transitioning active-duty military junior enlisted or early career civilian vocational candidates)
Service Tech 3 = $28-$32/hr. (~3-5 years’ experience)
Service Tech 2 = $32-$36/hr. (~5-8 years’ experience)
Service Tech 1 = $37-$39/hr. (~8-10+ years’ experience)
Journeyman = $39-$42/hr.

Travel: There are in-shop or field service positions available. For all field service positions, you will travel daily from your home and service equipment at customer sites in the field within the surrounding area, typically within 50-mile radius or within 2-3 hours of your home, depending on the position location. Occasional overnight that will be planned in your service schedule. Company service vehicle provided for all field service work and travel. Will go into the shop once a week to re-tool for the service week.



Position Description: As the heart of the company, the Service Technician safely performs service, routine and emergency maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and repairs with world-class customer service. In this role you will be responsible for fixing industrial equipment and systems and making repair recommendations to customers. You will work with other service technicians and associates as needed to ensure all scheduled work is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

Service, repair, modify, diagnose, and rebuild industrial systems.
Failure analysis, service, and repairs for customers on industrial systems.
Check/repair all industrial support systems.
Certify electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation systems for full operational use.
Keep current on product changes, specifications, and updates.
Operate, drive, and maintain company service trucks and parts inventory for service work.


Requirements: Good, safe troubleshooting skills and experience on industrial systems & equipment.

Knowledge and experience of the systems listed above in the position title, how they operate, function, and performing service.
Hands-on experience servicing and fixing Industrial Generators, Diesel Engines, Electrical Systems, or Electronics controls.
Computer and software skills including microsoft office suite.
Standard tools needed for service work as a maintenance professional. Company offers a Tool Insurance program.
Must have a good driving record and pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.
