Position Details:
Title: Audio Precision (https://www.ap.com/) Location: Beaverton, OR (part time remote work is OK) Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Compensation: Salary of $110k-$125k + 10% annual bonus based on corporate goals

Position Description:
The IT manager has catch-all responsibility for all business technology systems from personal desktops, laptops, and workstations to servers. This also includes supporting desktop applications, databases, accounting systems, and cloud-based services. The manager provides both hands on support, terminating network jacks and building new computers, to strategic planning and budgeting, and defining and implementing policies.
• Subscription Service: Manage all subscription-based services and software licenses. Insuring that required subscriptions are maintained and utilized efficiently.
• Servers: Maintain hardware, software, warranties, leases, and daily data backups. Have a tested and documented disaster recovery procedure for each. New deployments and replacement of unsupported hardware.
• Workstations, desktops, and laptops: Workstation purchases, deployment and replacement. Maintain back program for both local and remote users.
• Printers, scanners, and copiers: Manage printer, scanner, and copiers including hardware service plans,
and provisioning. y
• Telephone: Manage telephone and telecommunications services including IP-phone service and Internet connectivity.
• Core Network: Network Switches, Firewall, Domain controller, VPN, WINS, DNS & DHCP.
• Policies: Define & uphold policies as defined in the employee handbook, or otherwise documented and published corporate policies.
• Purchasing: Software, hardware, service contracts, contracted labor.
• Software: Maintain license inventory, license agreements. Purchase & install new software.
• User Support: Immediate response to end-user issues, request or questions.
• Account Management: Maintain user domain accounts, home data directories, e-mail accounts, and telephone extensions.
• Data housing: Onsite & Offsite backups of all company mission critical data. Documenting completion & location of each.
• Inventory: Maintain an inventory of all company assets that are owned by the IT Department.
• Security: Define security policies, patch known vulnerable systems. Perform regular workstation scans for Trojans. Perform security and password audits against the company networks. Monitor logs on perimeter systems for attackers. Manage keycard access system for physical access to the company office.
Requirements:
• 6 or more years of diverse IT experience, including at least 1 year of experience as an IT manager, at a small to mid-size company working individually and autonomously. ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY IT SYSTEM EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED

• Hands-on experience with the following: Windows server Active Directory, Group Policies, Intune, Copilot, Office365 & Azure cloud services in mixed on premise and cloud-based environment
• Networking including: Physically terminating ethernet jacks, Network switches and VLAN’s, Firewalls & VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, and other core networking protocols
• Data storage and management, including: Microsoft SharePoint, One Drive, and Teams, Azure Cloud storage
• SQL Database administration, basic familiarity with SQL queries
• Desktop application support
• Demonstrated excellent communication, customer service, and planning skills. Including the ability to negotiate and integrate business objectives, end-user requests, and technological feasibility in both large and small projects.
