Position Details:
• Title: Refrigseration Service Technician
• Location: Hyattsville, MD
• Shift: M-F 7am-5pm
• Compensation: $28-$32/hr. based on experience + Employee Equity
o First year compensation ~$70k+
o First year compensation ~$80k+

• Travel: Local travel to customer sites
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides service to commercial customer base by performing preventative service, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment, such as compressors, evaporators, electrical and mechanical control devices, and general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, particularly industrial and commercial freezers and ice machine equipment.
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
• 3+ years' experience in commercial refrigeration and/or ice machines, or related equipment
• Experience troubleshooting various equipment and educating customers on repairs needed or replacement recommendations
• Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers, co-workers and management
• Advanced customer service skills
• Proficient using tablet / computer for work orders, parts, timecards etc.
• Highly desired certifications: Journeyman’s license, CFESA certification, Master HVAC License
