Compensation: $20 - $24/ hour

Position Description | Production Technician 1
The Production Technician I is responsible for working with the Production team to build Motive Power batteries. The position reports to the Production Supervisor who leads day-to-day activities. This role is responsible for interpreting a work order and pulling stock items to properly build batteries to specifications.
This is an entry level position at the company that will uniquely position you for future career progression.
Responsibilities Include:
• Operate a forklift and an overhead hoist.
• Use a multimeter to verify DC voltage of battery cells to ensure proper placement in the battery.
• Follow work orders to determine required parts, independently.
• Determine how to install cells in a tray based on forklift battery layout.
• Operate and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and is skilled at operating a forklift. You should also have basic knowledge of series electrical circuit and experience with basic testing gauges such as Oscilloscopes, Multi-meters, and Hydrometers.
