Location: Atlanta, GA
Compensation: Base salary of $115-$130K based on experience, plus a 15% bonus

Position Description:

The Electrical Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for reviewing and managing the daily detail relating to electrical infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of efficiency, quality, and cleanliness at all times. The Electrical Infrastructure Manager will also be an active member of the installation team focused on the installation of electrical infrastructure as required for customer installation. Supervisory duties include, but are not limited to, training and mentoring employees, planning, assigning, delegating, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, and resolving employee issues while working with the Director of Client Power.

Other responsibilities:

• Installation of liquidtite, receptacles, installation of colored wire per electrical code, termination of breakers in electrical panels, testing, and installation of grounding infrastructure
• Installation of all sizes of EMT conduit ½” – 4” and wire up to 600 MCM.
• Manage the internal install work order process, including scheduling, layout, and ordering materials.
• Delegation and supervision of teams throughout the facilities
• Assist Director of Client Power and support staff with field coordination efforts and ensure all deadlines for client installs are met.
• Perform quality assurance checks on all work completed.
• Facilitate on the job training of newly hired technicians.
• Educate and assist technicians with proper install of wiring of devices, mentoring and assisting fellow technicians during the install process.
• Schedule maintenance windows to notify customers of work being performed.
• Delegate and coordinate work with subcontractors as needed.
• Work in live electrical equipment, PPE in compliance with current NFPA 70E

Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively with contractors performing maintenance or upgrade work on systems installed in the data center environment
• Ability to interface with the operations and construction teams daily and have strong project management skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use sound judgement to solve problems, make decisions, and work independently.
• Knowledge and skillset to efficiently bend and install 3” and 4” conduit using a table bender.
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to efficiently set up and use wire tugger to install large size wire feeders, up to 500 MCM
• Ability to layout and set large electrical gear
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Physical Demands: ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, work at heights, climb into tight areas, operate a computer, visual acuity including close and distance vision, ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, and ability to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
• Experience: 5+ years’ electrical experience, preferably as an Electrical Foreman
• Certification: Licensed Electrical Journeyman in the state of Georgia
