• Compensation: First Year Total Comp = $185.5k – 268k
Base Payrate $100,000 – 150,000
Quarterly Bonus (0 – 40%, 33% avg last 5 years) 33,000 – 49,500
Annual Profit Sharing (avg of 26% of base + bonus) $34,580 – 50,830
Annual Value of Stock Award $10,900 – 10,900
Car Allowance (plus Gas Expenses) $7,000 – 7,000 .
Total $185,480 – 268,230

• Travel: Approximately 50% travel during the week. You will schedule and visit customers to be the face of the organization. Normal expectations would be Monday through Thursday or Friday travel 2-3 weeks a month.

Position Description:
In this role you will have overall responsibility for procurement of scrap metal (ferrous and non-ferrous material) from national industrial company accounts/customers.
• Procure scrap metal from industrial generators from multiple locations throughout the United States.
• Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Retain and maintain profitable accounts within established pricing guidelines.
• Identify and implement margin opportunities with existing accounts.
• Resolve internal and external customer service issues.
• Complete documentation to meet all deadlines.

Requirements:
Company is looking for candidates with excellent presence and professionalism with scrap/metal buying experience. Specific requirements include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous sales or scrap buying experience.
• Working knowledge of scrap pricing, material identification, costs, operations and transportation.
• Ability to generate and qualify leads and close deals.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and a CRM. Experience with ERP system is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
