Title: Sr. Category Supplier Manager
Location: Boise, ID (relocation support provided)
Shift: Day Shift, (3-4 days expected in the office)
Compensation: $130K - $180K base depending on experience and qualifications plus bonus!

Position Description:
The Global Procurement team is an integral engine to company’s growth, delivering best-in-class total cost and supply chain resiliency through innovative predictive capabilities, risk analysis and a focus on sustainability and diversity.

As a Category Supplier Manager, you will be responsible for developing Category Strategy with respective internal partners and team members. You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, planning and implement negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building trusted partnerships with internal customers, driving best in class, cost, supply and resilience.

What’s Encouraged Daily:
Category Management & Strategic Sourcing
• Perform market intelligence and analysis including supplier landscape, capabilities, and technology roadmaps to develop Category Strategies with Category Sourcing Managers.
• Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting to improve value such as high revenue, spending reduction, purchasing efficiency, customer services, and supplier management.
• Recommend resource levels across procurement sourcing categories, projects, and functions
• Drive sourcing requirements and supplier selection through a decision matrix in support of technology development, cost reduction, performance improvement efforts, and sustainability
• Facilitate co-development activities and collaboration with suppliers
• Implement processes to supervise team member happiness with key suppliers Cost Management & Analysis
• Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers
• Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets
• Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal team members
• Apply cost modeling (should-cost models, Total Cost of Ownership, or other analytical techniques) to drive negotiation for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace
Supplier-related Savings and Negotiation
• Participate in supplier and strategic savings goal setting
• Lead and partner with collaborators in negotiations with suppliers for strategic sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation
• Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc.
• Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements into negotiations
• Develop contract strategy for suppliers in assigned categories and build, supervise and enforce contracted terms and conditions to drive accountability to TCO performance commitments that transfer into beneficial business engagement.

Supplier Performance Management
• Partner with category team and collaborators to develop comprehensive supplier management
• Collaborate internally to drive and develop key performance measures/metrics and drive supplier performance to ensure continuous supplier improvement
• Lead in prioritizing and delivering on supplier events, such as Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Supplier Evaluations, and Executive Review Meetings
Business Partnering
• Partner with Collaborators to deliver Strategic Solutions for the assigned categories
• Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with key partners
• Interact with company and Supplier executives
• Drive a customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement

Requirements:
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Procurement and Engineering
• Bachelor’s in Engineering with Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain (e.g. CPM, CPSM) desirable
• Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Advanced Packaging Processes and Capital Procurement
• Experienced in a Category Management role, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech industry
• Demonstrate experience in Strategic Sourcing
• Strong in Negotiation and Communication skills
