Position Details:
• Title: Tool and Die Maker
• Location: Pompano Beach, FL
• Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm
• Compensation: $20-$25/hr

Position Description: Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for building and repair of gauges, fixtures, tooling and dies; assembly and testing of complex tooling and dies in production departments.
• Use blueprints, sketches, models, or provided specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, dies and assemblies.
• Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, by utilizing measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and dial indicators.
• Utilize machining equipment and hand tools to file, grind, adjust, fit and assemble parts to make, repair or modify dies, gauges, and tooling.
• Conduct testing of completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications; adjust as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety and quality policies and requirements.
Requirements:
• Completion of formal apprenticeship program or completion of on-the-job training to meet
company expectations.
• Attention to detail & accuracy, technical capacity, and advance math skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Collaboration, communication proficiency, and time management.
