Description
Position Details: Boiler Technician
• Location: Arlington, VA
• Shift: M-F Night Shift (10 P – 6 A) with 1 weekend shift per month
• Compensation: $40-43/hr. based on experience

Position Description:
Provides facility support of fired equipment and assists in the installation, maintenance and repairs of the plumbing, sanitary, steam, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems and carpentry for the hospital and associated properties. Service, repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on all types of boilers, heaters, fired equipment, etc. Maintain records of all service and repairs and have a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations. Recognize tasks outside of normal job duties and assist others when applicable. Maintain safe work practices and good hazard recognition in all aspects of the job.
Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in servicing boilers and fired equipment
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents related to equipment
• General or special maintenance/ engineering trades course is preferred
• Class III DC or MD Boiler Operator's License is preferred
• Demonstrate good communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license
