Position Details:
Title: Technical Support Engineer
Location: Ashburn, VA
Shift: M-F normal working hours
Compensation: $80K starting based on experience, can range up to $100k for the right candidate.
Benefits: Robust benefit package
Travel: 20% (could be less), travel may be local and occasional out of area. Passport required (you can apply for one if currently you do not have it). The trips can be unplanned and being flexible for last minute travel is essential. Of course, they will give as much notice as possible- but business and client needs may make this notice possible.

Position Description:
As a TSE you will report to the Technical Support Manager and work closely with the sales team to specify custom monitoring solutions for data center owners and operators. You will work with both engineers and C-suite executives, providing support onsite, by email, and by phone.
• Focus on deploying Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).
• Perform on-site commissioning of company products.
• Assist customers with configuration and setup of company hardware/ software.
• Develop documentation for the as-built system
• Respond to service requests and assist with setup of hardware and software.

Requirements:
• College degree, technical diploma, or related military experience
• Knowledge and experience in fundamentals of electronics, electrical technology, and basics of energy meters.
• Able to learn diagnosing and troubleshooting EPMS issues relating to low voltage (480V) applications, power metering, networking and PLC/HMI integration.
• Demonstrated interest in technology, particularly related to electronics, instrumentation, or process control.
• Experience working w/ sophisticated data center owner/operators preferred
