Position Details:
Title: Engineering Training Leader/Coordinator
Location: / Hillsboro, OR
Shift: Day shift, typically M – F
Compensation: $54/hr - $80/hr depending on experience and qualifications

Travel: Primarily local but expected to travel for training purposes
- Expect extended travel (8-10 weeks) in Austria after 90 days of OJT stateside
The training leader provides expertise regarding instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles, adult learning theory and on-line learning strategies. Additionally, they have a view into peer review processes and are able to work cross functionally with people leaders and HR to define career progression for promotion and development.
Responsibilities:
Possess and demonstrate expert knowledge of training, coaching and performance management
Tracks training data to assist management in analyzing training benefits and costs;
Tracks certification data to assist management in analyzing training benefits and
Ensure that training is provided to new and existing trainers by facilitation periodic “Train the Trainer” workshops as needed for new Subject Matter Trainers.
Responsible – with people leaders of Customer Service and Applications Engineers – for the overall development and delivery of new hire curriculum, the creation and delivery of identified remedial training needs;
Responsible – with people leaders of Customer Service, Applications Engineers, and with HR – for the identification of training that is required to address skill gaps;
With people leaders and HR, responsible for the human capital effectiveness and development of new and current team members through training strategies and priorities.
Work with business leaders, people leaders (Customer Service and Applications) to establish metrics and influence standardization and consistency across the organization.
Qualifications:
Technical/scientific degree: Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering
Previous experience with E-beam lithography experience
Background in training and instruction of technical semiconductor tools
Python and Linux experience
Exhibit good problem-solving skills coupled with a natural curiosity and project- or program-management experience
Excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy being part of and integrating with a global team
