Job Description

Title: Project Superintendent
Location: Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX, and Reno, NV
Compensation: Base salary of $135-150k
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits to include 100% of health care expenses for employee.

Position Description:
The Project Superintendent provides the knowledge, skills, and experience required to manage the day-to-day field operations of task order and/or larger lump institutional and/or commercial construction projects. The primary focus of the Project Superintendent is to provide the managerial and leadership skills necessary to accomplish the work by means of subcontractors and to manage the day-to-day issues of a small self-performed workforce. Responsible for the production aspects of the work and accountable for production quality work that is constructed consistent with the standards set forth in the project’s contract documents, performing the work in a timely and cost effective manner, and for maintaining a work environment that is safe and continuously kept clean and orderly.

Other responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day field activities to ensure the project milestone dates and overall schedule completion date is met
• Create project schedules to ensure upcoming events are communicated, tracked, and are being proactively attended to
• Establish and maintain all dimensional controls for the project to include the use of third party survey and layout personnel when appropriate
• Obtain all inspections and ensuring that the quality aspects of the physical work are fully documented and compliant with all contract terms and legal requirements that govern the project and the community in which the project(s) takes place
• Administer client specific programs, such as CQC, Safety, Environmental Stewardship, etc
• Conduct and/or attend pre-construction, progress, and other project and staff meetings and meetings involving internal staff and external stakeholders such as owners, subcontractors, etc
• Meet with client representatives on a regular basis to discuss the status of projects, to proactively identify and resolve problems and assure the client is kept informed about work status
• Manage changes in project scope to ensure that the most contemporary contract documents are being used at all times to prevent avoidable rework
• Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and other agreements to ensure that the scope, terms, and conditions are consistently and proactively being met
• Manage project closeout process to assure completion on time and within established budget
• Maintain daily paperwork such as timecards, field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence
• Provide timely and cordial interaction with supporting work groups, such as accounting, HR, ICS, etc
• Direct and manage work loads of supporting staff to include training, mentoring, and follow up

Requirements:
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods associated with the renovation and construction of data centers and sitework related, with a working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical work required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and co-workers
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to create 3d visualization of end products and how to get there
• Understanding of sequencing of work, strategy of creating effective project schedules, project control, and change order management to ensure deadlines are met
• Ability to build effective teams, with record of mentoring and coaching employees
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate’s of Science in Construction Management or similar, or Journeyman status in a building trade (i.e. Carpenter) AND no less than 5 years’ progressive responsibility supervising construction
• Experience: 10+ years’ experience in the construction industry with engagement in Data Center construction, general building, and civil construction.
• Certifications: Current safety credentials to include OSHA 30 1, 1st Aid and CPR, and current CQC certification issued by USACE/NAVFAC

Title: Commissioning Manager

Position Description:
The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for the installation, startup, and commissioning of new critical infrastructure equipment to include, but not limited to: HVAC support systems, generators, UPS, PDU, STS, ATS, power distribution, monitoring and control systems. This individual will work to find creative ways to keep operational costs to a minimum and work with team members to improve efficiency.

Other responsibilities:
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities including training, planning, assigning, delegating and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving employee issues
• Create, implement, and monitor policies and procedures
• Work with General, Electrical, and Mechanical contractors to ensure installations meet company standards
• Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to commission and functionally test new systems
• Educate and enforce NFPA 70E to entire team to ensure employee safety at all times
• Assist Director of Integration and support staff with field coordination efforts and ensure all deadlines are met for client turnover
• Schedule and/or coordinate with facility manager with setting up maintenance windows to notify customers of work being performed
• Support construction, research, and development activity
• Work in live electrical equipment and PPE in compliance with current NFPA 70E guidelines
• Oversee and execute assigned projects and programs, with ability to answer work-related emails after hours and on weekends if necessary to coordinate projects

Requirements:
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and understanding of technical concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively with contractors installing, performing maintenance or upgrade work on systems installed in the data center environment
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems utilizing good initiative, analytical skills and sound judgement

Title: DCO Senior Systems Technician
Location: Reno, NV
Schedule: Mon – Fri 8am-5pm
Compensation: Base salary of $70,000 – $75,000 plus annual bonus

Position Description:
The Sr. Technician will work with the management team to facilitate operating and maintaining the datacenter. This team member is experienced in diverse industries such as electrical generation electrical distribution, cooling technologies, and fire suppression systems. This team member will work to find innovative ways to keep operational costs to a minimum, within budget, and to improve efficiency.

• Responsible for and maintain 100% critical systems uptime
• First Responder when qualified and designated
• Train and support creation of P3 events in Ops Genie
• Oversee and complete Tasks with safety and quality assurance in mind
• Develop, mentor, and provide technical leadership
• Support the creation and review of critical environment procedures
• Understanding and utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System

Position Description
The Data Center Operations (DCO) Systems Technician will work as a team player to provide technical escort in support of all maintenance, operations, and expansion efforts, including critical infrastructure of power, cooling systems, communications, and facilities. Also, completing preventative maintenance as planned by Systems Management.

Other responsibilities
• Responsible for and maintain 100% critical systems uptime.
• Alarm Response: High Temperature, UPS, UPS Battery, Health Report Error, Fluid Cooler, Pump Skid
• Accurate and timely completion of work orders and participate in policy and procedure development.
• Handle different tool and equipment with precision.
• Adhere to Switch Safety Policy and Procedure.
• Work with vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets Switch standards.

Position Description:
As a Critical Facilities Technician II, you will perform operation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair on the following types of systems and equipment: mission critical infrastructure, generators, UPS Systems, HVAC Systems, Fire/Life Safety Systems, Building Management Systems (BMS) and CMMS systems.
• Mechanical responsibilities will include working on chilled water systems and components, HVAC systems such as roof top units, CRAC/CRAH units, humidification systems, fan wall systems, air cooled chillers, and central plant operations.
• Electrical responsibilities will include working on electrical/critical power distribution from the Utility/Generator main switchgear through the UPS systems out to the customer load, UPS, PDU, and RPP cabinets.
