Position Details:
Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Easton, PA
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm
Compensation: $110K - $160K annually (based on experience) + annual bonus

Position Description | Electrical Engineer
As the Electrical Engineer you will provide electrical engineering design support for power plant design, substations and equipment including component selection, design integration, fabrication, and operation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Engineering support for shop and field service personnel including preparing design solutions as needed.
• Collaborate with Lead PE for shop project questions to streamline communications, keep shop projects moving forward, and build your knowledgebase.
• Develop one-line, three-line, and schematic drawings.
• Prepare electrical equipment specifications.
• Sizing/selecting components including breakers, fuses, cables, and wiring.
• Collaborate with technical departments to create standard processes and checklists for common shop and field tasks and practices.
• Sales team support for customer questions and meetings when needed.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate possess an Electrical Engineering Degree and has significant experience in Power Distribution. You should also be able to work independently and be excited about the opportunity to refurbish electrical substations from some of the most competitive and largest companies in the USA. Additional preferred requirements are listed below:
• Experience in electrical power generation and distribution systems/facilities design
• Fully understand, develop & produce one-line, three-line, and schematic drawings.
• Comfortable taking direction and accepting corrections or changes from company’s lead PE.
• Good verbal and written communication skills – Comfortable interacting with teammates, customers, and subcontractors.
• Excellent proactive and results oriented work habits.
• Proficient at building and improving our company’s existing processes, information organization, and engineering library.
• Willingness to learn, research and occasionally attend applicable classes, seminars, etc.
• Familiarity with electrical power industrial standards, codes, ANSI, CSA, NFPA and NEC
