Position Details:
Title: Field Service Technician (Transformers)
Location: Anywhere from Midwest/Texas to East Coast within an hour of a major airport
Positions: 1
Travel: 70% Travel predominantly from Midwest – East Coast
Duration: Travel is normally Monday through Friday but FSTs can be gone up to 2 weeks at a time working at customer facilities.
Compensation: $70-80k+ OT (~20k) and Bonus (up to 10%), First Year W2 $90k+

Position Description:
As a Field Service Technician (Transformers), you will play a crucial role in the company’s Tier program activities, focusing on data collection, oil processing, and transformer repairs at customer sites including coal-fired power plants, pulp and paper mills, and other industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Tier 1 activities, including on-site data collection and oil sampling on medium sized (200KW) Transformer-Rectifier Sets at customer locations.
• Perform Tier 2 services, including oil processing and transformer repairs.
• Execute electrical and electronic troubleshooting for a variety of service calls.
• Collect and analyze data, generating comprehensive reports for internal teams and customers.
• Operate and maintain specialized diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and technological advancements.
Requirements:
The Field Service Director is looking to bring on military candidates with a strong background in high voltage electrical circuity (any mechanical experience is a plus). Candidates should also have the drive to learn complex electrical/electronic systems and further develop their skillset. Troubleshooter mindsets will go far in this role.
