Position Details:
Title: Service Technician
Location: Tacoma, WA (Ideal candidate should live in Tacoma, Auburn or Kent)
Travel Requirements: Daily travel is required. Company truck provided with gas card.
Shift: Wed-Sun or Sat- Wed, 7:00am to 3:00pm (Flexible on start time). Overtime possible, not guaranteed.
Salary: $30 -$33/hr+ with OT

Position Description:
This position is an entry level service technician role at a national natural gas company. The company is changing the way the world fuels its vehicles by providing renewable natural gas for heavy duty trucks, buses, and other large vehicles. Inspect, maintain, and perform minor to moderate repairs on CNG and/or LNG fueling equipment, including compressors, dispensers, priority panels, dryers, storage tanks and other related equipment.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma (preferred) or equivalent plus a minimum of 4 years of related or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems. Must have basic computer knowledge, especially using service software.

Must possess basic set of tools prior to first day, list provided in initial interview.

Electrical/Mechanical
• Must have a strong working knowledge and be able to demonstrate ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems such as current overloads, ground faults, open circuits, and faulty relay logic, also should be able to monitor, check and correct phase imbalances, current draw, low voltage power supply’s, pressure transmitters, relay logic and programmable logic control operation.
• Must have a strong working knowledge and be able to demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair such mechanical problems as high- and low-pressure gas flow restrictions, interstage gas compressor temperatures and pressures, pressure regulator variance and should have a strong understanding and be able to monitor, interpret, check, and correct operational trends in reciprocating and screw type gas compressors.
• Inspect, maintain, and adjust electrical equipment such as but not limited to electrical wiring, conduit, panels, switch gear, switches, gauges, transducers, solenoids, gas dryers, actuators, motors, meters, frequency drives and controls for safe and proper operating conditions.
• Inspect, maintain, and adjust mechanical equipment such as but not limited to, compressors pumps, engines, intercoolers, after coolers, heat exchangers, piping, tubing, fittings, filters, traps, gas dryers, fasteners, valves, and actuators for safe and proper operating conditions.
