Position Details:
Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (occasional flexibility)
Compensation: $60,000 ($30/hr)
Benefits: Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match. Eligible for annual bonus (not listed on site).
Travel: None. This is a full-time, on-site position at the company’s Class A facility in Santa Monica. Free lunch provided on-site five days a week.

Position Description:
As a Maintenance Technician with supporting the Microsoft account, you’ll provide hands-on facility maintenance at a high-end office campus in Santa Monica. You will serve as the first responder for minor repairs and be responsible for work order management, basic building upkeep, and coordination of service vendors. This is a great opportunity for someone who is handy, detail-oriented, and takes pride in providing exceptional workplace experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
• Perform basic repairs: patch drywall, tighten plumbing fixtures, replace light bulbs and ceiling tiles, touch-up paint, etc.
• Troubleshoot and reset building elements to maintain a professional environment.
• Conduct site walks and respond to reactive maintenance needs as they arise.
• Open and close work orders through the company’s WEC system.
• Provide direction to janitorial staff and collaborate with a small on-site workplace team (reception, mail coordinator, vendor coordinator).
• Coordinate and manage outside vendors for specialized trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Support workplace hospitality and a high-integrity culture—work respectfully around executives and visitors.
• Participate in maintaining building appearance, safety standards, and client satisfaction.

Requirements:
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and comfort with basic tools and repairs.
• 1–3 years of experience in general maintenance, handyman, facilities support, or related work.
• Excellent communication and professionalism—must be comfortable interacting with vendors and executives.
• Experience working in office, commercial, or Class A environments is a plus.
• Military background preferred but not required.
• Local to Santa Monica area or available to start within 1–2 weeks.
• Valid driver’s license required.
