Description

Orion Talent, the nation’s largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for Accelerator Operators for a domestic leader for innovating and providing nuclear medicine for critical patient healthcare needs.

Position Details: Accelerator Operator/Technician
• Location: Beloit, WI
• Shift or Travel: Rotating 12-hour Shift (3-1-3-3 schedule) *must be open to night shift*
• Compensation: $42.31-$46.31/hr. (Eligible for OT) *night shift receives $5 shift differential*
REASONABLE FIRST YEAR W2 ~ $88k-$96k+
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation – Annual Bonus, Relocation negotiable

Position Description:
The Accelerator Technician will assist in the development of the processes around routine and non-routine particle (electron) accelerator equipment operations and maintenance tasks necessary to manufacture radiopharmaceuticals safely, compliantly, and efficiently. The individual will be responsible for the operational success of the radioisotope production process, including accelerator startup/shutdown operations and maintenance, target irradiation, and other routine operations.

Requirements:
• Navy Nuke or Electricians Mate Background is an ideal fit
• BS or Technical qualification in Engineering, Physics is preferred
• Minimum of 3 Years working in a highly regulated/cGMP environment or equipment experience
• Experience working with electronics, testing equipment, and mechanical systems
• Understanding/knowledge operating accelerator, reactor, or other radiation producing devices
• Experience in radiopharmaceutical production is preferred
