Title: Aseptic Processing Technician – 2nd Shift
Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift:
Core hours: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM with flexibility in start and end times (e.g., 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, or 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM).
Monday through Friday. Training will take place on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
Compensation: $22+/hour plus a 10% differential for all hours worked on 2nd shift.

Position Description
The Aseptic Processing Technician provides essential support to sterile filling and compounding departments, ensuring adherence to strict aseptic standards and operational excellence. Responsibilities include:
Equipment Operations:
Operate autoclaves and sterilization equipment to sanitize parts and components.
Perform equipment setup, parameter adjustment, and troubleshooting, ensuring configurations are correct and equipment runs smoothly.
Disassemble and reassemble machinery for cleaning and maintenance.
Aseptic Area Maintenance:
Clean rooms, walls, floors, and equipment using aseptic techniques and approved solutions.
Dispose of used materials safely and complete logbook entries.
Material Handling and Documentation:
Transfer materials from non-sterile to sterile areas, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
Manage and document cleanroom garment preparation, shipping, and receiving processes.
Complete batch documentation accurately and promptly.
Training and Development:
Participate in safety and aseptic training programs to maintain qualification status.
Expand skills through cross-functional training and task enrichment as directed.
Qualifications
Experience:
Previous experience with cleaning, sterilization, or mechanical equipment preferred.
Skills:
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and proper use of cleaning agents.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions precisely.
