Description
Title: Thermal Sales Engineer
Location: Must live in Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio cities and be willing to travel
· Expect 3 travel hour loops on a daily basis as needed.
· Territory:
o Overnights? As needed based on travel – 3 nights per week depending on area / dinner and client visits, etc.
o Covers all of TX, NM, and western half of Arkansas
Shift: Typically, day shift
Compensation: $85K base with vehicle, laptop, cell, etc. Commission plan provided.
• New hire will start with existing $500k baseline revenue of $1M expected sales quota per Fiscal Year (Oct – Sept).
• Take care of current customers and then then find and develop new clients
• 6% of 1M (after $500k), 7% of 2M+, no cap
• 1st year comp w/ OTE of $120k+ / 2nd year: $200k+
• Flexible on base comp pay for 1st year if they have industry experience

Position Description:
Develops long-term partnerships with clients and promotes industrial boilers and associated equipment and services by performing the following duties.
• Prospects for potential customers within assigned territory
• Calls on corporate managers, engineers, architects, or other professional and technical personnel to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of products and services
• Able to create and perform effective technical presentations for Company
• Able to review and explain mechanical and electrical drawings
• Can prepare technical proposals including detailed quotations of Company products and
• Have good interpersonal skills and good at customer relationship management
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with a capital equipment sales background.
Attributes: Self-driven to perform, emulates humility, modesty, and professionalism. The company can teach you the technical aspects of the role but not everyone will have the right attributes to perform. Must exude motivation to operate in a performance-driven environment.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
