Title: Diesel Technician
Location: San Diego, Escondido or Fontana, CA
Schedule: Day Shift: Monday – Friday (7AM-4:30PM)
Compensation: $30-40 per hour DOE + OT
Benefits: 401K, MED/DEN/VIS + 11 Paid Holidays
Position Description:
The Heavy Diesel Technician will respond to service and repair needs of customers and the company while also outlining supplies, materials, and tools for field repairs and maintaining the service truck. This position reports to the Branch Service Manager. The service and equipment field mechanic is encouraged to purchase and utilize their own tools; however, company tools can be provided.
• Inspect and diagnose heavy equipment issues for mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical problems followed by conducting the repair or service.
• Prepare and complete repair cost estimates, order parts and supplies necessary for work, prepare invoices, follow HAZMAT policies and safety procedures.
• Utilize basic mechanics hand and power tools, industrial forklifts, pressure washers, electronic testing equipment, and more.
Requirements:
? Company is looking to bring on transitioning or former military Diesel Technicians (wheeled vehicle or generator/power generation) familiar with basic mechanical and electrical systems experience as well as hydraulic and schematic reading experience.
