Position Details:
Title: Senior Construction Coordinator
Location: Can live anywhere in CA/NV/AZ with travel to work site locations. Current project is in Bakersfield, CA (2-3yr project)
Shift: Typically Mon – Fri, normal hours with occasional weekends flexible hours as needed.
Compensation: $100 - $125k, depending on experience

Travel: Travel to work site locations. (typical 3 weeks on site/ 1 week home if out of area) Projects typically 1-2 years in length. Approx one month of training at home office in Exeter, NH.

Position Description:
Seeking a Senior Construction Coordinator that will be primarily assigned to their construction sites. The Senior Construction Coordinator will assist with or perform duties on-site required to coordinate, administer, monitor, record, update and manage the contract, cost, schedule, documents and correspondence for assigned projects. They will perform technical management of one or more subcontractors on a project site as well as perform inspections and witness tests applicable to discipline to determine acceptability of work. The coordinator monitors contractors and review submittals to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, and testing meet the requirements of the QA/QC Program and project schedule.

Requirements:
Candidates for this role should have trade experience from their military experience such as Navy Nukes, electricians, gas turbines, etc. Huge plus if have power generation background. This candidate should have multiple years’ experience within the construction field with an in-depth knowledge of multi-trade construction (technology, equipment, methods). Strong background in safety, quality and estimation. Willingness to travel as they will spend excessive time on the work sites.
