Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Palmetto, GA 30268
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation: $28.63 per hour and tops out at $30.63 after one (1) year (Raises every 3 months) + OT
Anything over 8 hours per day is considered OT.

Position Description: As a Maintenance Mechanic at PHV Corp, you will inspect repair, and conduct maintenance of mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment. This skilled position represents a technician skilled in one or several trades. Maintenance Mechanics perform various tasks in the repair and maintenance of machinery, building, and equipment. Tasks range from reading blueprints and fabricating devices to troubleshooting complex system issues. You will analyze and repair mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment (i.e., conveyor/sortation, building/facility, fire/safety) and plan and take corrective action. Assist in testing and calibrating electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC controls under operating conditions with or without assistance from specialized contractors. Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections of assigned equipment, report findings, and take corrective actions if possible. Record findings in CMMS. You will be expected to document and communicate recurring equipment malfunctions, and reliability concerns, and lead the effort to implement corrective action recommendations.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience with some electrical exposure. This is a skilled position that represents a technician skilled in one or several trades.
• Familiarity with conveyors, gearboxes, electric motors, pumps, compressors, generators, HVAC.
