Description

Position Details:
• Title: Sales Account Executive
• Location: Remote (preferably Central or Eastern US)
• Travel/Schedule: You will drive your own schedule, but realistically can expect approximately 50% overnight travel throughout your territory to prospective customer sites, conferences, regional sales meetings, trade shows, etc.
• Compensation: Target Base Salary ~$65K - $70K + commission (target 50% - 75% annually)

Position Description: The company provides top of the line, full and partial automation solutions for both direct mail and retail pharmacies. The OptiFill and RIVA service groups provide support and expertise to the customers on company equipment and product lines. As a Sales Account Executive you will promote the use of and consultatively sell company solutions to new and existing customers within a specific geographic area (primarily the Eastern US). Youn will deliver targeted programs and solutions in order to expand and retain existing business, while also prospecting for new business by delivering presentations, proposals and finalizing deals as it relates to new business and strategic accounts in order to contribute to increased profitable revenues and technology sales goals.
Some specific responsibilities include:
• Follow company’s sales process and execute consultative sales strategies based on existing customers’ business needs in order to achieve established business objectives.
• Achieve annual unit quota goal in sales bookings in assigned territory.
• Appropriately log and forecast all territory sales activities in SalesForce.com as required.
• Work directly with Director, Client Solutions and internal subject matter experts to execute new business sales strategies, expansion and maintenance sales strategies, and proposing company solutions to address customer specific needs.
• Demonstrate initiative in your own professional development, such as keeping abreast of the industry and its changes through the use of industry information and company literature.
• Participate in required sales training that will allow the company sales force to continually maintain a consultative sales approach with all customers.
• Deliver professional presentations to existing and new customers
• Sales efforts will include calling on and presenting to pharmacy and health system executives (C-Suite), managers, operations staff, individual pharmacy owners, and at times pharmacy customer base such as nursing home administrators and nursing staff.
• Represent the company at trade shows.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have at least a few years of sales account management and business development experience in a multiple state region, ideally within the healthcare or medical device realm. You should embrace a consultative sales methodology and approach to advancing existing relationships and developing new ones. You must have exceptional presentation and influencing skills, and be self-motivated and driven. You should be prepared to interpret industry trends and competitive information to develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace.
