Position Description:
The Security Manager is responsible for security, compliance and training within the company. They will review, analyze, classify and ensure proper handling of documents and materials. The Security Manager will need to stay up to date on relevant guides, laws, regulations and policies to develop classification guidelines and procedures. They provide training to staff on classifications and security protocols. They are responsible for evaluating and process security clearance applications and conducting background investigations. The Security Manager assists in the development of security policies and procedures and prepares comprehensive reports on clearance statuses and FOCI evaluations for senior management.
Requirements:
Candidates for this role should have extensive experience and knowledge with security procedures, physical security and document and material classification protocols and handling. Candidates should have knowledge and experience to conduct background checks. They should be motivated to stay up to date with local and federal regulations, guidelines, laws, and policies and procedures. Candidates need to have experience and/or ability to train individuals on security policies and procedures and provide reports to senior management.
