Position Details:
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Compensation: $27.75-$39/hr based on skills/experience. Additional specialty incentives available
• Company truck and computer/tablet and Tool Package valued at $8,500
Shift: Monday – Friday, Generally Day Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00PM) with regular OT for field techs
Travel: Field Techs - 90% (Regionally based supporting customer needs) / Shop Techs – As needed for training

Position Description
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues and performing standard general repairs on drive-train components, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on company and/or customers’ heavy equipment across shop and field settings while adhering to all safety regulations and contributing to a positive work environment. You will inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on Heavy Equipment and develop logical conclusions and determine a repair solution based on education and experience. You will be expected to source and order parts as needed and perform repair of mobile equipment in a field environment without supervision. You may need to perform welding and brazing, fabricate and modify parts, equipment, and miscellaneous structures as needed. You must be decisive and able to recognize and support the organization’s goals and priorities.
Position Requirements
• General knowledge, ability to diagnose, and capable of repairing complex hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information from general hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Technical school graduate or experience with Volvo construction equipment preferred.
• Must possess and maintain acceptable safe driving record and pass DOT Medical Certification.
