Description

Position Details:
• Title: Technical Sales Manager
• Location: You can live anywhere in the Midwest Territory that includes MO, IN, IL, WI, MN
• Travel/Schedule: You can expect up to 50% overnight travel to meet with clients face-to-face throughout your assigned territory. When not travelling you will be meeting with local customers/prospects or working from home.
• Compensation: Target $100K - $125K 1st year compensation: Base Salary of $50K plus 2.5% commissions on every sale (existing and new) in your territory (paid monthly).
o There is already over $2M in accounts in the territory, so that right there is $50K in commissions, with the realistic expectation to grow the territory by $500K-$1M annually (adding another $15K-$25K in commissions).
o Company vehicle also provided.

Position Description: As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding an existing book of business within Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. You will engage directly with end-users to demonstrate the value of company’s products through testing and economic analysis. Your goal will be to take market share by presenting compelling business cases and providing solutions that exceed customer expectations. Some key responsibilities include:
• Manage Existing Accounts: Maintain and grow relationships with current customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Targeted Territory Growth: Actively seek out new business opportunities within the assigned territory, targeting key accounts in primary metals and foundry to expand company’s market presence.
• Product Testing: Collaborate with end-users to conduct on-site product testing, demonstrating the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of Company Solutions..
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to develop strategies for increasing market share.
• Presentations: Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that highlight the value and economic benefits of company’s products to potential customers.
• Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards sales targets.
