• Shift: modified 4-week rotation 48/36/48/36, plus OT
o DDD/X/NNN/XXX/DDDD/XXXXXXX/NNNN/XXX
• Compensation: $33-55 based on experience, expect 300-500 hours of OT at $49.50-$82.50
o Bonus: target bonus of 8%

Position Description:
The Power Plant Technician is responsible for performing operations functions, preventive and corrective to ensure proper functioning of plant equipment. Candidates must be proficient in maintaining equipment at the plant while also troubleshooting assisting in the resolution of problems discovered on shift. Expected to perform daily maintenance, overhauls, calibration, troubleshooting, repair/replacement and removal/installation of plant equipment and systems. Conduct excitation system inspections and preventive maintenance. Candidates should be proficient in operating material handling equipment, able to develop and implement plant operating procedures and understands the relationship of equipment within the plant. Always ensuring strict adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures as they relate to plant operations and maintenance including but not limited to Lockout Tagout, Job Safety Analysis, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical Safety and PPE
Requirements:
• 4-6 years related experience in power plant operations
• Minimum of a Massachusetts State 3rd Class Stationary Engineer License is required.
• Proficient with computer-based skills and able to demonstrate effective oral & verbal communications skills
• Independent knowledge of troubleshooting
• Must successfully pass the POSS/MASS pre-employment test
