Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Milwaukee, WI (Can live in between Milwaukee and the north side of Chicago, IL.)
Shift: Dayshift, M-F
Compensation: $30/hr - $36/hr plus overtime. Up to an 8% annual bonus and a $2.5K sign-on bonus. Company car provided. Mileage reimbursement based on the IRS current rate. Per diem or company credit card when traveling.

Travel: Local Wisconsin & Illinois travel 30%, Monday - Friday
Overnight throughout USA travel 70%, Monday – Friday
Will travel to Germany for training.
Position Description:
Reporting to the Director of Support, you will perform installations, training, repairs, upgrades and preventative maintenance of company products at various client sites. This is a home-based, remote role that will travel daily within the region. You will visit many different customer locations. You have also full responsibility for your local region of customers with company's Flexo platemaking solutions for the Flexo printing market. The company’s Digital Imager (CDI) is the first and most used laser imager for direct exposure on Flexo plates. As a GATF and FTA award winner, it represents a great leap forward in digital flexography. CDI plates offer quality and printing stability.
Your responsibilities include:
• New system installations (CDI Laser engraving and XPS UV exposure systems)
• Train our customers in equipment use and operator maintenance.
• Electrical, mechanical, and optics repairs
• Application Software upgrades
• Preventative maintenance
Requirements:
• Electrical and/or mechanical background; military technical training or experience repairing industrial/commercial equipment.
• Electrical skills: you have a solid understanding of electrical diagrams, multi/voltmeter, relays, AC/DC, encoders, stepper and servo motors, machine safety systems.
• Mechanical skills: you are able to assemble components and do fine adjustment work on mechanical parts and optics.
• Computer skills: you have a good understanding of PC hardware, Windows operating system, and basic networking. You are comfortable replacing computer parts such as hard drives, power supplies, network/video cards and able to install device drivers,
• Hands-on, customer-oriented and able to work independently.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Will need to be able to obtain a passport once started.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver over, under and around printing equipment.
