Position Details
Location: Manhattan, NY
Compensation: $162K – $180K Base, plus $37.5K Target Bonus Plan (First Year Total Comp $200K – $220K)
Travel: Local (60% daily travel within the region, with occasional overnight travel, usually less than 10%, for manager meetings)

Position Description
As Regional Service Manager, you will be responsible for successfully managing the day-to-day service operations for assigned Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) / customer grouping in the Greater New York City Metro area. You will also be responsible for managing all service engineers of an assigned imaging modality (or modalities) for your area (12 – 15 Customer Service Engineers). Success is measured through assigned Key Performance Indicators. The RSM reports directly to the NYC Greater Metro Area Service Manager. Specific responsibilities include:
• Implement outlined service strategies for assigned IDN(s).
• Ensure smooth and efficient service delivery according to the contractual commitments.
• Achieve or exceed all assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to IDN(s) and service engineers.
• For the entire Greater NYC Metro area, hire, develop, trains, and lead all service engineers in the assigned modality.
• Ensure compliance with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices and all service policies relevant to the position.
• Serve as escalation point for assigned customers and service engineers.
• Work with dispatch, order management, and other service departments to ensure smooth service delivery for your customers.
• Develop overall customer strategies jointly with local sales team.
• Provide feedback to your manager on changing customer needs and service trends.
Position Requirements
• Top-tier Service Leaders with excellent interpersonal and customer skills and experience.
• Ideally, candidates with leadership experience within a Union environment (Union experience is not required, but it is more of the ability to lead in this environment that is most important).
• BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of managing a team of 15+ employees.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Superior communication skills (written and oral) and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at many levels within the organization.
• Effectively present information to co-workers and employee groups, including upper management, customers at various levels and public representatives.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
• Ability to thrive as a member of a collaborative, cross-functional team
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Past experience in managing large remote employee-based territory preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical Equipment or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Ability to articulate and explain value of Service Agreement offerings preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP or experience with equivalent enterprise service software solution preferred.
