Title: Field Service Representative
Location: Scranton, PA
Shift: Normal Day Shift, Mostly Monday – Friday w/ infrequent weekend coverage in customer emergency situations
Compensation: $80k – 85k base, plus Overtime and Company Car // Total Comp First Year = $92k – 98k

Position Description:
The Field Service Engineer reports to the District Service Manager and works directly with the district team Leads to obtain formal instrument training and field-based OJT for certification on BD products. This position must comply with all Quality, GMP, ISO and safety regulations and adhere to company travel policies. Specific responsibilities include:
Provide service, preventive maintenance, modifications, and installations of company equipment at Customer sites with minimal direction.
Troubleshoot system failures and provide on-site customer repairs; responsible for delivering both timely and effective repairs.
Manage company assets including, company car, cell phone, computer, tablet, tools, inventory parts, etc.
Establish and foster positive business relationships with customers and peers
Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, recording time worked, training, expense reporting, etc.
Provide ongoing feedback to customers in regard to instrument repair and status.
Interfacing regularly with the Technical Support organization in order to provide the highest level of customer support
Work closely with district team leads and dispatch to schedule and support customer base.
Requirements:
The company is looking for Military Veteran professional technicians with a strong background in electronics, electro-mechanical and/or biomedical maintenance, service, and repair.
Candidates must possess excellent professionalism and strong customer skills
Well-organized with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Strong background in documentation and reporting of work.
Computer literate in Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and be able to utilize computer-based tools for reports, email and general communication
Willingness and ability to work different shifts, on-call, nights and weekends in case of need
Current valid Driving license and good driving record over the last 3 years is required
